Last Friday on Jan 27, the whole 6th grade of my school went to the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. We spent the whole day there and we learned about many different things.
There was a exhibit on race where we learned the advantages and disadvantages of having different skin colors. It was really interesting to read and know how race in our society is. Most of the exhibits were interactive and gave us a lot of information of many things ranging from dinosaurs to outer space. We could see the scientists working in person and what they do as their profession. There were many fossils of dinosaurs and extinct animals in the museum as well which were very interesting to look at. Something that I like was the 3d printing. We could see how everything was made and many of the things that they made could move.
The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences was a very educational, interactive and overall a fun experience!
